The last of the restaurants have opened in town, and as the last remnants of the disaster of October 25th are shoveled away, Monterosso's favorite spot has started to fill up again.
Older residents laying for a few minutes after lunch, tourists jumping into the crystal blue water (then shrieking, as it's still a little chilly from the winter), the first kayaks and paddleboards being brought out, sunbathers glimmering and children building castles with sticky gelato fingers - these are more of the scenes from a normal beach town.

And in case you can't get here soon, a little video to give you 360 degrees of an afternoon at the shore.
